Twiducate (www.twiducate.com) is a social networking tool/resource for the classroom. The tool is a great access to the everyday classroom. It will stand to bridge the gap between teachers and students inside and outside of the classroom. This is a free resource. This is an excellent way to bring your students world to the classroom. The resource gives a classroom the facebook/twitter concept in a safe and control environment. The teacher creates the account and classroom. The teacher will then create the class and add the students to the class. The students are given the class code and password. The teacher also has access to the students’ password and access to all post. What better way to create daily journal, post assignment, and create effective communication between teacher and students also well as student- to -student interaction. 1. Hello Tonneche,

I choose twiducate as one of my Web 2.0 reviews and you are right. This application can provide some of the same benefits as facebook and twitter for school age students. There is so much an educator can post to assist in informing the students as well as allowing them to collaborate with each other. It is a great tool and the educator manages the class account/posting submissions. The educator should prepare learners about the dos and don’ts of social networking so it does no become detrimental to their well being now or in the future. That way they cannot think/say, “I wish an adult would have told me.” Good choice.

You and I share some of the same ideas for AR project research. Maybe we can be each other critical thinking friend for our AR project – to share and collaborate through out the process.
